Practice Manager
The Practice Manager looks after the day to day running
of the Practice. We welcome feedback and comments about the
running of the practice. We have a complaints procedure for
more formal complaints. Please ask at our reception for more
details.
Practice Nurse
Our Nurse can help with
general health advice, smoking cessation, screening examinations,
vaccinations, travel advice, blood tests, dietary advice,
contraceptive advice, HRT advice etc.,
Receptionists
Our receptionists will
arrange appointments and answer, if possible, any queries.
They may need to ask your medical details in order to help
with your query. All information given to them is strictly
confidential.
Health Visitor
Our health visitor, Mrs Siwan Mitchell, sees children under
five years of age at home and in the baby clinic. If you have
any concerns and need to contact her, please telephone 20371221.
Counsellor
We have a counsellor
working at the surgery, one day a week. She can be seen if
the doctor thinks you have a problem that can be helped by
counselling.
Community Nurses
The community nurses work in close cooperation with the Practice.
They provide nursing services to patients in their own home.
Your local community nurse can be contacted by telephone on
20219200.
Community Midwives
Community midwives are
attached to the practice and will help to look after you during
your pregnancy, delivery and the postnatal. They are here
on a Monday afternoon but can be contacted, if needed, on
the labour ward at Llandough Hospital. 20711711.
