Patient information on GP ACCESS survey 2009/10
(Taff Riverside Practice achievement)
The results of GP Access survey conducted in March 2010 are
published.
Key results:
1. ACCESS
to a GP or Health Care Professional on the same day or the next day the GP
surgery or Health Centre was open
87% of patients
responded “YES” (able to see doctor or Health Care Professional on the same
day or the next day)
2. Ability
to book appointments more than two full days in advance (advance booking
by practice):
66% of patients
responded “YES”
These results followed the similar trend of the majority of
GP practices in WALES.
